Fuse will give viewers a raw, first-hand look at life on the road with punkers NOFX.
The music television network, which last month offered its first performance show from sister company Madison Square Garden with a Foo Fighters’ concert, will bow NOFX: Backstage Passport on April 15 at 10 p.m.
Through half-hour installments, the docuseries will give fans a chance to trail the fish-out-of-water members of the punk rock band on their unbridled world tour. The show is compiled from more than 500 hours of footage from the group’s trek, which included stops in Singapore, Peru, Israel, South Africa and China.
With their perpetually drunk manager Kent, NOFX, whose 10 albums have sold more than 6 million copies worldwide, attempts to spice up their everyday lives with the excitement and adventure of touring foreign territory.
“Collaborating with music veterans NOFX to co-produce “NOFX: Backstage Passport” has allowed Fuse to provide original programming that takes an inside look at life on the road, where nothing is off limits,” said Fuse executive vice president, programming, development and digital Matt Farber in a statement. “The uncensored honesty of a band on the edge provides a compelling and entertaining front row seat that can’t be seen anywhere else.”
