CMT, Miss America: Vegas, Baby

CMT will air the 2007 Miss America Pageant live from the Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas Jan. 29, AP reported.

The event had been held in Atlantic City, N.J., for its first 84 years, before heading out West this past January.

CMT acquired the television rights to the event last year after ABC passed on them.

In addition to the pageant itself, the network has aired complementary programming including seven-episode documentary series Finding Miss America.
