Arris

Arris Group Inc. has added Derek Elder as senior vice president, sales, responsible for the Comcast Corp., Cablevision Systems Corp. and General Communication Inc. accounts. He had led MSO sales efforts at Tropic Networks Inc.

CHUM

CHUM Television was named Maria Hale vice president, content business development. She was VP, Citytv Toronto.

Comcast

Ralph Silvan was named director of Comcast Cable Communications Inc.’s Huntsville, Ala., call center, which serves Alabama and Mississippi customers. He was call-center manager in Knoxville, Tenn.

Creative Domain

Marketing, advertising and branding agency Creative Domain has named Karen Crawford vice president, theatrical print. She was VP, creative print advertising at Artisan Entertainment.

CSTV

College Sports Television has named John Duff executive vice president, distribution. He comes from America Online Inc., where he was executive director responsible for broadband distribution.

Discovery Health

Discovery Health Channel has named Dan Russell vice president, programming. He was VP, programming at sister Discovery Networks U.S. service Travel Channel.

GE Finance

GE Commercial Finance has named Thomas M. Byrne senior vice president, origination, responsible for originating and structuring debt transactions for cable and telecom companies. He had been senior VP in the corporate lending group.

HIT

HIT Entertainment plc has added Greg Dyke as nonexecutive chairman and Bruce Steinberg as chief executive. Dyke was director-general of the British Broadcasting Corp.; Steinberg had been CEO of Fox Kids Europe.

M/K Advertising

Michael Yuen has been made a principal of M/K Advertising. Yuen, who helped launch the company in 1997, was formerly with Grey Entertainment.

Also, vice president, account director Ingrid Laub was elevated to partner.

NBC Universal

NBC Universal Television Group Publicity has elevated Wendy Luckenbill to vice president, NBC daytime, alternative and specials. She was director, primetime series publicity.

Also,Jamie French was upped to director, primetime series, and Jeanette Eliot was elevated to director, events and operations.

NYC Connect

Chun Lee was named vice president, finance at interconnection provider NYC Connect. He comes from software provider firstRain Inc., where he was VP, finance and administration.

RCH

Rachael Hokanson has joined RCH Cable Outsourcing Services as director, client relations, Rocky Mountain region and Canada. Previously she was corporate director, advanced product marketing for Charter Communications Inc.

QVC

QVC Inc. has elevated executive vice president Randy Ronning, adding chief merchandising officer responsibilities to his duties.

Scripps

Scripps Networks has upped William Crosby to senior vice president, broadband programming and production. He had previously served as VP of HGTVPro.com.

Time Warner Cable

Sharon C. Moloney has been named regional vice president of Time Warner Cable Media Sales, responsible for the Southwest region. She comes from WPMI-TV/WJCT-TV in Mobile, Ala.

Also, Terence Rafferty has been named senior vice president and general manager of Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey, responsible for customer service, quality control, signal security, telecommunications, and facilities. He was group VP, New York State region.

And senior vice president, general manager of Barbara Kelly has added oversight of the Hudson Valley system to her responsibilities. She remains responsible for sales, retention and programming in the New York City system.

WealthTV

WealthTV has named Lisa Miyano director, affiliate sales and marketing, Western region. A cable veteran, she was director, affiliate relations at TVN Entertainment Inc. and Western region account manager at Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc.
