It’s almost time for Lifetime Television executives to sing “fa la la la.”
The women’s-targeted network, like ABC Family and Hallmark Channel will again engage in holiday stunting, serving up 25 holiday movies in 25 days under the “Fa La La La Lifetime” franchise, beginning Dec. 1 and running through Christmas Day.
Highlighted by five U.S. TV premieres on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), the festival will be led by Reba co-star Melissa Peterman and Queer Eye For the Straight Guy’s Carson Kressley, who will host Lifetime’s How to Look Good Naked, the reality show bowing Jan. 4.
Lifetime begins putting tinsel on its holiday telefilm tree with Dec.1’s Holiday Switch, which stars Nicole Eggert (Gilmore Girls) as a struggling housewife wondering whether she married the wrong man.
Inspired by a true story, Jami Gertz (Still Standing) and Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck) are an estranged couple caught in a snowstorm in the Lost Holiday: The Jim and Suzanne Shemwell Story, which debuts Dec. 8. The next night, Lifetime unwraps An Accidental Christmas in which Cynthia Gibb (Crime of Passion) stars in the story of a couple, separated after 15 years of marriage, who are manipulated by their children into spending Christmas vacation together.
On Dec. 15, Lifetime features Christmas in Paradise, where two families meet aboard a cruise ship only to have the holiday shattered by a visitor from one of their pasts. Charlotte Ross (Showtime’s Beggars and Choosers) and Colin Ferguson (Sci Fi’s Eureka) head the cast.
Three days before the big event, Dave Coulier (Full House) stars in a romantic family comedy, The Family Holiday, about a lovable pool hustler who inherits $10 million.
For their parts, Peterman and Kressley during interstitial segments will provide tips for surviving the holiday season, finding the special gift for someone specials, best tree-dressing practices and ideas for spicing up a holiday party.

Fa-la-la-la-la!! I have been enjoying your Christmas movies all this season. The little commercial breaks are adorable! They just make me happy. I am alone this year (not my own choice), and I keep Lifetime on all of the time. It keeps me company, and in the Christmas spirit.

My mom recently watched Holiday Switch and really enjoyed the movie; however, she missed the last 30 minutes of the movie because one of her sister-in-laws called with some bad news. Can you tell me if this movie will be on again any time soon? I would like for her to get to see the end of the movie. It actually looks like a good movie that I would like to watch myself. Thanks!

I saw the commercial for the Holiday Switch and thought that it was a movie that I had seen years ago and for years have not been able to think of the title or who was in it.It's theme runs along the same lines as the the said movie-It is about this girl found a ring in a desk from her boyfriend and they go away for a vacation and she makes a wish and the next day her life as she knew it was totally different. She spends several days there and through events comes to realize she liked her life the way it was before and tries to get back to it.I hope this rings a bell because if memory serves it was on Lifetime. I hope you can help-I would love to know the name of the movie!!Thanks!!!
