Yassini Seeks Broadband Grant Applicants
Cable Modem Inventor Announces $200,000 In Grants For Broadband Entrepreneurs

Rouzbeh Yassini has finalized the submission process and the selection committee for a new grant program designed to accelerate independent research into advanced broadband technologies.
A total of $200,000 will be distributed, along with research support at the Broadband Knowledge Center in Boston, for four post-graduate projects per year. The first grant will be awarded on Sept. 10. More information is available at the YAS Broadband Ventures Web site. July 4 is the deadline for initial short-form applications.
