Charter Names Schmitz CFO
Schremp Elevated To CMO In Executive Reshuffling

As expected, Charter Communications named executive vice president and interim chief financial officer Eloise Schmitz to the position permanently, effective July 1.
Schmitz, who has been with Charter since 1998, was previously senior vice president of strategic planning. She took over as interim CFO in April after J.T. Fisher resigned from the position.
Schmitz (pictured) has long been thought to be the logical choice as CFO because she has been intimately involved with practically every Charter debt deal since she joined the company and is well-known on Wall Street.
“Eloise has the respect and confidence of Charter’s board, management and investors,” Charter CEO Neil Smit said in a statement. “In a 10-year career with Charter, Eloise’s contributions have been innumerable. It is a great pleasure to name her chief financial officer.”
In another personnel move, Charter named Ted Schremp chief marketing officer, effective July 1. Schremp will replace CMO Robert Quigley, who is retiring. Charter said Quigley will remain with Charter through the end of the year in an advisory role.
Schremp joined Charter in 2005 and had served as senior vice president and general manager of Charter Telephone, the MSO’s digital telephony offering.
