AT&T Adds Wealth to U-verse Lineup

AT&T enriched its burgeoning U-verse TV programming lineup, announcing a deal to carry WeathTV.

Under the carriage deal, AT&T will carry WeathTV’s linear and HD channel, as well as its standard-definition and HD video-on-demand programming.

WealthTV offers programming focusing on the luxury lifestyle and the lives of the rich and famous.

“Our networks are in sync with AT&T U-verse TV to provide an advanced and personalized entertainment experience,” WealthTV president and cofounder Charles Herring said. “We are excited to be part of the AT&T U-verse experience and to further diversify our customer footprint by delivering programming to U-verse customers.”

WealthTV is the latest in a string of U-verse programming deals that are being announced almost daily. The most recent additions included Bloomberg Television, Discovery Networks U.S., NFL Networks, MTV Networks and BET Networks.
