AT&T has launched a suite of in-home technical support and installation services, including TV and home-theater setup, for residential customers nationwide.
The telco’s ConnecTech, which will be marketed to both AT&T and non-AT&T customers in parts of all 50 states, offers TV and home-theater installation, personal computer and home-network setup, and repair services.
"AT&T has long been a familiar face in the homes of Americans -- first installing phone service, high-speed Internet service and now AT&T U-verse TV," said Carmen Nava, senior vice president of consumer marketing operations for AT&T, in a statement.
AT&T’s computer and home-network installation services start at $99. TV and home-theater services like flat-panel TV wall mounting and home video installation start at $149. In-home PC repair service, including parts and hardware replacement, begin at $179.
