TVG Gets Wider Berth in DirecTV Stable

Direct-Broadcast Satellite Operator Launches Gemstar-TV Guide’s Horse-Racing Network to More Homes

DirecTV will move TVG Network from its Sports Pack into its Total Choice Plus and Choice Xtra and above packages, more than tripling Gemstar-TV Guide International’s horse-racing channel’s distribution on the direct-broadcast satellite carrier.

TVG will now be available to more than 8 million DirecTV subscribers and to nearly 26 million homes nationwide.
