It’s upfront season, and HGTV held a cocktail reception, “Wine & Design,” for its talent, media buyers and the press Tuesday in Manhattan.
The event was held at the Loft & Garden, a venue that has a lovely rooftop outdoor garden overlooking Fifth Avenue in Midtown.
HGTV President Jim Samples and a raft of the network’s top designers are on display in this online photo gallery.
Michael Dingley, HGTV’s senior vice president of programming and strategy, did a brief presentation where he introduced the network’s on-air hosts and designers, who were out in full force for the event.
Carter Oosterhouse, of Carter Can and Red Hot and Green, drew a lot of questions and attention from the women who attended the event.
But there were plenty of other HGTV hosts and designers mingling with the crowd, including Kim Myles, of Myles and Styles, John Gidding of Designed to Sell, and Lauren Lake of Spice Up My Kitchen.
