Cablevision Systems has named Kim Norris senior vice president, business development and strategy of the Bethpage, N.Y.-based cable operator. She comes from the Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau, where she was the trade group’s president.
Also, Keith Agabob was promoted to vice president, product management, from director, product management and operations.
CNN
CNN has added Scott Zamost as an Atlanta-based investigative producer. He comes from WTVJ-TV, Miami, where he was an investigative producer for the NBC affiliate.
Comcast
Comcast has named Timothy Nester vice president, finance, Washington state, based in Seattle. He had been VP, controller in the cable operator’s Denver office.
Also, Anand Kini has joined Comcast’s cable unit as a Philadelphia-based senior vice president, financial planning and analysis. He comes from video-game publisher Activision, Los Angeles, where he was VP, financial planning.

Cox Communications has named Janet Barnard senior vice president, general manager, Northern Virginia. She had been Tyler, Texas-based vice president, region manager, Middle America for the Atlanta-headquartered cable operator.

Santa Monica, Calif.-based postproduction company Crush Editorial has added Richard Cooperman as editor. He had edited music videos for Los Angeles-based Brass Knuckles Editorial.

Eric Shain was elevated to vice president, production finance at Disney/ABC Cable Networks Group. He was executive director.

The Nielsen Co. has hired Cheryl Idell as executive vice president of media product leadership, to lead the growth of the company’s media-analytics products. She was executive VP of media and marketing planning at 20th Century Fox.

Qualcomm has named Neville Meijers senior vice president, general manager of its MediaFLO Technologies mobile-broadcast unit. He comes from Discovery Communications, where he was executive vice president of Antenna Audio.

Christine Bragan was named vice president, marketing communications at Rainbow Media. She had been director.

Laura Lipson was promoted to vice president, promotion and marketing at TV One. She was director.
YES Network
