Altitude

Denver-based regional sports network Altitude Sports & Entertainment has elevated four staffers: Phillip Mallios to senior vice president, affiliate sales and marketing; Dave Zur to senior vice president, operations and engineering; Lynetta Fiscus to vice president and controller, finance and accounting; and Bill Henderson to senior director, KSE Broadcast Services and vice president, Altitude Video Services.

Channel One

Channel One News, a provider of news and other content for teenagers, has named Angela Hunter senior vice president, executive producer. She had been an independent producer working with such networks as TLC, Travel Channel, MSNBC, Court TV and Fuse.

Comcast Spotlight

Jonathan M. Bernard was named director, automotive advertising sales at Comcast Spotlight, based in New York. He had led automotive sales efforts in the New York City tri-state area.

Cox

Cox Communications has elevated Mark McGuire to vice president, solutions delivery. He had been director, enterprise applications.

Cox Media

Cox Media has elevated Lisa S. Parker to regional sales manager, Cox Media Hampton Roads (Va.). She had been a regional account executive.

D3

New York-based digital display maker D3 LED has named David M. Tetreault as senior vice president, marketing and business development. He comes from 20th Television, where he was VP, marketing.

Discovery

Joseph A. La Sala Jr. was appointed senior executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Discovery Communications. He comes from technology firm Novell, where he was senior VP, general counsel and secretary.

Disney Channel

Disney Channel has promoted Steven Vincent to vice president, music and soundtracks. He had been director, production, and executive in charge of music at the network.

Evolution

Reality-show production company Evolution Media has elevated Alex Baskin to vice president, development and new media. He had been director of development.

Gospel

Matt Turner has joined Gospel Music Channel as vice president, Eastern region ad sales. He comes from Music Choice, where he was VP, national ad sales.

GSN

John Zaccario was named senior vice president, advertising sales at GSN. He was VP, digital media sales and marketing at ESPN.

Hodge/Niederer

Vicky Goldberg has joined San Francisco-based executive and board search firm Hodge/Niederer/Cariani/Lindsay as a Los Angeles-based partner focused on the media, entertainment and consumer sectors. She comes from Warner Bros. Entertainment, where she was VP, worldwide recruitment.

JLM

New York-based entertainment public relations firm JLM PR has named Pam Workman general manager, vice president of publicity. She had been a publicity director with the company.

Loyalkaspar

New York-based on-air design and production company Loyalkaspar has named Elliott Chaffer as creative director. He had been head of his own company, Milk Films.

MTV Networks

Jacques Tortoli was named executive vice president, chief financial officer at MTV Networks. He had been senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer at parent Viacom.

Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon and MTV Networks Kids and Family Group has elevated Samantha Maltin to senior vice president, integrated marketing and partnerships. She had been vice president, Viacom Brand Solutions.

ReelzChannel

Terry O’Reilly was named executive vice president, general manager of ReelzChannel. He was president of sister company Hubbard Holdings LLC.

SGL

Southampton, U.K.-based content archive and storage-management software provider Software Generation Ltd. has named Chris Luther project manager, North America, based in New York. He comes from ad-agency service bureau 291 Digital.

Turner

Turner Animation, Young Adult & Kids Media has named Brenda Freeman chief marketing officer, responsible for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang and digital businesses GameTap and Super Deluxe. She comes from Nickelodeon and MTV Networks Kids and Family Group, where she was senior VP, integrated marketing and promotions.

Also, Janet Abbazia was named vice president of event marketing, Turner Sports, based in Atlanta. She had been director, event marketing.
