DIY Series Mans Up With Howard Stern’s Crew

Man Caves’ Transforms Home of Lang, Dell’Abate

By Multi Channel News Staff -- Multichannel News, 9/26/2008 7:00:00 AM

During its sophomore season, DIY Network's Man Caves will delve into the homes of a couple of members of shock jock Howard Stern’s crew.

The second season of DIY’s Man Caves, featuring former NFL defensive lineman Tony “Goose” Siragusa and home-improvement maven Jason Cameron (Desperate Landscapes) who transform ordinary spaces into a guy’s version of personal paradise, will take a look into the homes of Stern personalities Gary Dell’Abate and Artie Lang.

Bowing Oct. 7 at 9 p.m., the first episode of the series’ new season shows Dell’Abate’s space being changed into an upscale sports club and bar, replete with New England wainscoting, glass shelving and a granite countertop, as well as the appearance of an all-star athlete.

The following week Cameron and Siragusa, with a little help from the comic’s friends, work around Lange’s laziness to construct an outdoor table with a built-in cooler, a media center with a disappearing television and a humidor.

Among the projects featured in the other nine half-hour installments this season are the construction of a New York Mets clubhouse, a pool hall and a rock ‘n roll lounge.
