TBS Signs Pair To Marketing, Promo Deals Behind Sitcom’s Sophomore Season

Sonic and State Farm have partnered with TBS to provide marketing and promotional support for the second season of The Bill Engvall Show.
Insurance company State Farm will have a contextual role in an episode dedicated to practicing teenage safe driving, while Sonic will be included in storylines throughout the season, according to network officials.
Both companies will be included in marketing outreach and promotions for the series, in which comedian Engvall plays Bill Pearson, a family counselor, who has difficulty understanding his own family. The new season is to debut on June 12.
“We are pleased to have our long-time TBS marketing partner Sonic on board with us for another creative promotion, and welcome State Farm on board to communicate their meaningful safe driving message,” said Katherine Johnson, senior vice president of Turner Entertainment promotions and marketing in a statement,
