Bresnan cable systems have added The Movie Channel HD, Food HD, HGTV HD, TBS HD, The History Channel HD, USA Network HD, The SciFi Channel HD, Lifetime Movie Network HD and HDPPV, which includes GameHD and TeamHD, the operator said.
Gospel Music Channel will launch in standard definition, the operator added, while saying there are plans to offer 25 HD channels by the end of 2008 to customers who pay $9.95 per month for an advanced set-top. There is no addition charge, beyond the box fee, for HD programming, Bresnan said.
Bresnan’s Web site indicates the operator already offers Discovery HD Theater, ESPN HD, Universal HD “and more.”
Bresnan has about 300,000 subscribers in total in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Utah.
