Barclay Fitzpatrick was named vice president, business development at ADC Telecommunications Inc. He had been VP, brand strategy and communication for Rockwell International.

AMC Networks

Nancy LaPerla was promoted to senior vice president, advertising and sponsorships sales at AMC Networks. She had been director of marketing.

Comcast SportsNet

Comcast SportsNet reported two promotions: John Ruth to senior vice president, finance. He will retain his current title of chief financial officer. April Carty-Sipp was promoted to director, on-air promotions. She had been on-air promotions producer.

Court TV

Jennifer Randolph was promoted to vice president, public affairs and education at Court TV. She had been senior director, public and government affairs.

Cox

Cox Communications Inc. tapped Bill Beesley as director, commercial network operations. He had been manager, commercial data network operations with Cox in Atlanta.

CTAM

The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing named Betsy Frank to its board of directors. She is the executive vice president, research and planning for MTV Networks.

E! Networks

Mark Sonnenberg was named executive vice president, entertainment. He had been executive VP, content and marketing for Intertainer Inc.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer

Bruce Tuchman was named executive vice president of MGM Networks. He hadbeen been senior VP at Nickelodeon.

Oxygen

Oxygen Media reported four appointments: Elizabeth Cullen was named vice president, acquisitions and co-productions. She had been manager, program acquisitions at Showtime Networks Inc. Jennifer Cunningham Cotter was named VP, development. She had been a development representative at Carsey-Werner-Mandabach and a consultant to Oxygen. Nicolette Donen was promoted to VP, development, west coast. She is executive producer for Man Talk with Carrie Fisher. Brigitte McCray was promoted to VP, programming. She had been director, creative services for WABC-TV.

Pegasus

Pegasus Communications Corp. reported two executive appointments: Macy Summers was named vice president, technology. He had been VP, broadband satellite solutions for EMS Technologies Inc. Chuck Chakravarty was named VP, business development. He had been a principal for The Chatterjee Group.

Pioneer

Jon Schatz was promoted to national sales manager, cable and communications division at Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. He had been regional sales manager, Southeast region.

Sci Fi

Dave Howe was tapped as senior vice president, marketing and creative at Sci Fi Channel. He comes from the British Broadcasting Corp., where he most recently served as controller of creative services.

ShopNBC

ShopNBC promoted Dick Barnes to chief operating officer. He will continue as executive vice president and chief financial officer. The network also hired John Ryan as executive vice president, entertainment and licensing. Ryan comes from syndicator Worldvision Enterprises Inc., where he had served as president and CEO.

Starz Encore

Miles McNamee was promoted to vice president, affiliate marketing at Starz Encore Group LLC. He had been VP, business development, new media.

Toshiba

Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. appointed Fred Berry vice president and general manager in its network products division. He had been director of new business development.

Turner

Jacqueline H. Fallous was promoted to vice president, integrated and interactive sales for Turner Broadcasting Sales International. She had been director, interactive sales. Thomas A. Stevens was named VP, Turner Entertainment Sales. He had been western region sales manager. Daniel W. Darling was appointed executive VP, entertainment operations for Turner Entertainment Group. He had been senior VP of Turner Studios.

The Weather Channel

Ed Perry was named account manager, North Central region. He had been director, sales for Atlanta based Bethea Insurance Group. Alex Dombronovich was named account manager, southeast region at The Weather Channel. He had been local ad sales manager for Time Warner Cable in Orangeburg, S.C.

Universal

Universal Studios Television Distribution reported three appointments: Marc Grayson as VP, basic cable sales; Chris Gerondale as VP, research; and Beth Minehart as senior VP, business development.
