Los Angeles-Univision Communications Inc. said last week that its 2000-2001 upfront for the Univision broadcast network and Galavisión cable network generated $501 million in ad sales from 92 advertisers (including 22 new accounts), up 18 percent.
The Spanish-language networks obtained cost-per-thousand increases in the 22 percent to 24 percent range, Univision said.
