DirecTV To Offer HD Sports Shows

LOS ANGELES-DirecTV Inc. and billionaire Mark Cuban, who owns the National Basketball Association's Dallas Mavericks, are in negotiations to jointly create a high-definition sports channel for the satellite service, sources said last week.
It was unclear what sports programming would run on the network, or whether Mavericks games would be included. DirecTV representatives had no comment on the matter.
