Gerald Linchan was appointed executive vice president, national spot sales for Azteca America, a joint venture between Pappas Telecasting Companies and TV Azteca. He had been senior VP, general sales manager of Petry Television.

CAB

Wendy Cutler was named director, member services. She had been affiliate marketing manager for the Sci Fi Channel.

CNBC

Andrew C. Warren was named vice president, chief financial officer of CNBC. He had been VP, financial planning and analysis for parent company NBC.

CNN

CNN Domestic Networks announced three executive appointments and two promotions: Ken Jautz was appointed executive vice president, general manager of CNNfn; Teya Ryan was appointed executive VP, GM of CNN Headline news. At CNN/Sports Illustrated, Steve Robinson was named executive VP, GM; Bill Galvin was promoted to VP, executive producer at CNN/SI; and Steve Quintana to coordinating producer.

COMCAST

Comcast Cablevision of Delmarva Inc named Timothy Sylvester director, customer service. He had been chief financial officer for Clientlogic in Dover, Del. Comcast Online Communications promoted Debbie Brodsky to senior director, Online content. She had been director.

COMEDY CENTRAL

Brad Samuels was promoted to executive vice president, affiliate elations. He had been senior VP.

COX

Scott M. Petre was promoted to vice president, general manager of Cox Business Services in Kansas. He had been VP, broadband services.

DISNEY

Philip Lelyveld was promoted to vice president, digital industry relations for the Walt Disney Company. He had been director.

ESPN

Kerry Chandler was appointed vice president, human resources. She had been director, human resources strategy at IBM Global Services. Thomas Murphy was appointed VP, international finance and planning. He had been responsible for business and operating plans, investor relations and analyst inquiries at Walt Disney World.

FOX

At Fox Cable, Jonathan J. Sarrow was named manager, affiliate business affairs. He had been director, contract administration at New Line Cinema's international unit.

GALAXY

Galaxy Cablevision announced two promotions: Gregry Lathum to vice president, sales. He had been director of marketing; and Larry Erby to VP, operations. He had been director, new product development.

GOLF CHANNEL

The Golf Channel announced two hires and one promotion: Steve Barker was named account manager. He held the same position at WWJ-TV in Detroit; Michelle Jones was named account manager, infomercials, direct response and international sales. She had been media director for Orlando based DeFalco Advertising; and Lisa Mesloh was promoted to account manager. She had been director of tour relations at TGC's Orlando office.

IN DEMAND

Michael S. Berman was named vice president, business affairs and senior counsel. Most recently he handled programming and distribution matters for Scripps Television Networks.

SEACHANGE

SeaChange International Inc. named Stephanie Brownlee,, vice president, interactive television sales. She had been responsible for corporate accounts and cable operator contract negotiations at United Video.

STARZ ENCORE

Andrew Nigolian was hired as division vice president for Starz Encore Group Adelphia division. He had been VP, marketing for Time Warner Cable's Binghamton, New York division.

UNIVISION

Univision has announced four promotions: Judy Kenny to senior vice president, New York network sales manager. She had been VP; Dan Thomas to senior VP, sales development and marketing. He had been VP; Peter Pouliopoulos to VP, sale development and marketing. He had been an account executive in network sales at KMEX in LA; and Sebastian M. Trujillo to southeast sales manager. He had been an account executive based in Miami.
