Mark Meding and Gary Lee were elevated to lead Aviom Inc.'s new broadcast and commercial sales group. Meding comes from P.E. Schmitt, where he was a New York region representative. Lee was Aviom's Eastern regional sales manager.

C-COR

C-COR Inc. has named Roger Sherwood vice president of service and development for On Demand and operations support system solutions. He was director of customer solutions, Europe/Middle East/Africa and Asia-Pacific.

Comcast

Robert Carter was named vice president of commercial sales, Comcast Corp. southern division. He comes from Charter Communications Inc., where he was division VP, Southeast.

Also, Jeff Austin was named regional vice president of engineering for the coastal region. He was VP of planning and strategy for national engineering and operations, based in Philadelphia.

And Lisa Akhionbare was named director of finance for the Southwest region. She was director of business operations, Dallas region.

Covad

Eric Weiss was named chief marketing officer, Covad Communications Group. He was an executive in residence for the telecommunications practice at Warburg Pincus.

CSG Systems

Roger Metz was promoted to vice president of investor relations, CSG Systems International. He was executive director of corporate development.

Digital Vision

Dan Dermain was named production specialist for digital media developer Digital Vision. He comes from ROOT6 Technology, where he was international channel manager.

Fuse

Matthew McAlpin was named vice president of strategic programming and scheduling at Fuse. He was director, program scheduling at Comedy Central.

Also, Fernando Romero was elevated to vice president of advertising sales, digital media. He was director of interactive sales.

Hallmark

Jaime Pena was named regional director, network distribution and service, Western region for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. He comes from The Tennis Channel, where he was an account manager, responsible for securing new launches for the network.

Here

Josh Rosenzweig was promoted to vice president of publicity and marketing at Here Networks. He was director of corporate and marketing communications.

Imagine

Jamie Howard was named CEO of Imagine Communications. He was chief operating officer of BigBand Networks Inc.

Latens Systems

Alex Borland was named head of technical services, Latens Systems. He comes from Nagravision, where he was general manager, United Kingdom and Ireland.

Mediacom

Peter Brown was elevated to senior director of Internet-protocol development for Mediacom Communications Corp. He was director, IP development.

Also at the Middletown, N.Y.-based cable operator: Glenn Goldsmith was promoted from director to senior director of programming; Richard Hagensick was promoted from senior manager to director of engineering; Paula Hubert-Vooght was promoted to senior manager, billing services, from manager; Robert Irish, formerly senior manager of information technology services, was promoted to director; Phil Janssen was promoted from director to senior director of data warehouse; Arthur Kinsler was promoted from senior manager of business integration to director; Joseph Michulski was promoted to senior director, corporate finance, from director; Judith Mills was elevated from senior manager to director, human resources; Judith Smythe was promoted from senior manager to director, business integration; Kim Stacklum was promoted from manager to senior manager, programming; and Gary White was promoted from director to senior director, data center.

MobiTV

Kay Johansson was named chief technology officer, MobiTV Inc. He was chief technology officer at Popwire.

ReelzChannel

Patricia LaVigne was appointed senior vice president of creative services and marketing for ReelzChannel. She comes from Jupiter Creative, a branding and marketing agency she founded in 2002.

TMG

Mark Hill was appointed president for Turner Media Group, which provides interactive TV advertising, direct-response programming and transactional TV. He was chief corporate development and strategy officer at RadioShack Corp.

Zuffa

Zuffa Inc. has named Marshall Zelaznik United Kingdom division president for the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization. He was vice president of programming at In Demand Networks.
