-- Multichannel News, 12/20/2006 4:44:00 PM

Beginning next month, The Biography Channel will share secrets and debunk the myths surrounding the notorious deaths of some of pop culture’s most celebrated icons with The Final 24.

The six-episode series, detailing the last 24 hours of the subject’s life, is scheduled to debut Jan. 4 at 10 p.m. (EST) with a look at the final day of comic John Belushi.

Biography will examine the back story and present little known facts about the last 24 hours of actor River Phoenix and Sex Pistols’ bassist Sid Vicious Jan. 11 and 18, respectively.

Produced by Cineflix, the series will also look at the deaths of Marvin Gaye, John F. Kennedy Jr. and Hunter S. Thompson.
