Eagle Broadband’s IPTV Lands in Florida

Reaches Multiyear Deal with FrontGate Broadband for Multiple-Dwelling Units

By Todd Spangler -- Multichannel News, 2/27/2007 4:47:00 PM

Eagle Broadband, a provider of Internet-protocol-TV and digital-communications services, announced a multiyear agreement with service provider FrontGate Broadband Tuesday to deliver IPTV services to condominium and master-planned properties in Florida.

FrontGate’s MediaCom division plans to deliver standard-definition and HD programming, supplied by Eagle, to housing properties under contract with FrontGate over fiber-to-the-premises networks.

“With the ability to deliver over 250 channels of in-demand, high-definition programming, we can truly provide complete luxury service bundles to our high-end clients,” FrontGate MediaCom president David Suarez said in a prepared statement.

Eagle, based in League City, Texas, provides access to more than 250 channels of programming through its IPTVComplete service.
