Pate, Hunt Team Up on Marketing Group

TV Design and Branding Pros Lori Pate and Lee Hunt Launch New Firm

By Christian Lewis -- Multichannel News, 6/14/2007 3:37:00 PM

Television designer and producer Lori Pate, a former executive producer at TV-branding group 3 Ring Circus, teamed up with reknowned brand strategist Lee Hunt, among others, to launch a new consulting group geared toward multiplatform marketing.

The goal of the company -- named Lori Pate + -- is to connect media clients with strategic and creative professionals focused on brand strategy, promotion, production, best practices, on-air design, print/package design, Web design and interactive/game design.

“It’s an exciting time in our industry, but the media landscape is more complex than ever before,” Pate said. “I founded this group to be a resource to those charged with shaping the multiplatform marketplace. I help clients to determine the best strategies to exploit their branding opportunities and connect them to the appropriate member resource or combination of resources to complete the task.”

To date, Lori Pate + member companies include Lee Hunt LLC; promotion and production house Wee Beastie; on-air design firms Loyalkaspar and PMCD Design; print, Web and package design company Orange Design; and interactive tech group Jersey Cow.

In addition to 3 Ring Circus, Pate built and managed the in-house, on-air and off-air design department at Starz Entertainment, as well as consulting for affiliate stations, networks, corporate clients and cable operators.

Hunt is currently acting managing director of Promax/BDA.
