It’s New-Programming Season on Sportsman Channel

Cable Network Launches Slate of New Shows

The Sportsman Channel will kick off a slate of new summer programming next week.

The new batch of shows includes Bowhunting North America, which airs Mondays at 10:30 p.m. and follows the Ferguson family and friends as the Bowhunting North America team travels across the country in pursuit of big game with stick and string.

Get Out! With Shelley and Courtney will run Saturdays at 6 p.m., going beyond fishing to encompass the entire outdoor experience.

IGFA Angler’s Digest, with a Wednesday time slot at 9:30 p.m., features host Bill Boyce going off with award- and tournament-winning captains and anglers aboard some of the best boats on the water.

Morrell’s Living’ on the Wild Side,Mondays at 10 p.m., takes viewers from big-game hunts out West to monster whitetails in the East.

Taxidermy for the Sportsman, which will air Tuesdays at 7 p.m., offers master taxidermist Dan Rinehard as a guide into the fascinating world of taxidermy.

The Lodge,Mondays at 6 p.m. and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m., is a weekly destination for highlights and previews, terrific trivia and heartwarming headlines.

The Texas Sportsman Road Show,Saturdays at noon, permits viewers to ride along with host Brent Traylor as he explores the wild side of the Lone Star State.

Totally Outdoors,Fridays at 6:30 p.m., has sportsmen push the outdoor experience to the edge and bring viewers along for all the excitement, from the United States to Canada and Africa.

Trails N Traditions, Fridays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m., is dedicated to the preservation of the nation’s hunting heritage.

And Wild Wisconsin Outdoor Television,Sundays at 5 p.m., focuses on families hunting together, ethical hunting practices and fair-chase hunts.

Launched in 2003, Sportsman is in 15 million households nationwide on a full- and part-time basis.
