Vyyo Replaces CFO

Former Knology CFO Mills to Start Aug. 1

By Todd Spangler -- Multichannel News, 7/16/2007 12:35:00 PM

Continuing an overhaul of its executive team, Vyyo announced that it hired former Knology chief financial officer Robert Mills as CFO.

Mills will start at Vyyo Aug. 1. He replaces Arik Levi, who will continue to serve in an advisory capacity during the transition period, according to Vyyo.

“The addition of Rob to our management team assures us of continued financial-industry expertise and corporate-capital-structure experience that will be critical for the long-term success of the company,” Vyyo CEO Wayne H. Davis said in a prepared statement.

Mills is the third C-level appointment by the broadband-equipment provider this year. Vyyo hired Davis, a former chief technology officer for Charter Communications, in March. Earlier this month, it hired former Charter vice president of technology David Feldman as CTO.

Mills most recently served as CFO of Tri-S Security, a publicly traded company that provides outsourced security-guard services, and he spent six years as CFO of cable operator Knology. He has also worked at wireless-phone operator Powertel (now part of T-Mobile USA) and accounting firm Arthur Anderson.
