TBS Preps Online Recap of My Boys

Second Season to Debut on Cable Network Monday

By Jason Braff -- Multichannel News, 7/27/2007 11:37:00 AM

In anticipation for the second season of My Boys, TBS put together a four-minute, rapid-fire recap of the entire first season on tbs.com.

The Web site will also feature complete episodes from last season, leading up to the second-season premiere on TBS Monday at 10 p.m.

TBS will air a marathon of the first season (13 episodes) beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday.

“Through the four-minute My Boys recap, we are using digital innovation to invite new viewers who may have missed it before to sample this fantastic show,” said Jeff Gregor, chief marketing officer for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies, in a prepared statement. “At the same time, we are using this quick-bite recap to build excitement and awareness for the new episodes among people who have already come to love the show and its wonderfully relatable characters.”

My Boys, which premiered in November 2006, stars Jordana Spiro, Jamie Kaler and Jim Gaffigan.
