COXCox Communications ad-sales unit Cox Media has named Stephen Schmeider as Virginia statewide business manager, responsible for operations in the Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia and Roanoke markets. He comes from Professional Student Loan Services LLC, where he was a partner and financial manager.

ESPNSports programmer ESPN has named Barry Blyn as New York-based vice president, consumer insights. He comes from Sterling Brands, where he was senior VP, strategy.
ImagineSan Diego-based digital video processing and edge multiplexing solutions provider Imagine Communications has named Terry Kinninger chief financial officer. He was CFO and executive VP, business development at medical-device company R2 Technology.
InsightNew York-based cable operator Insight Communications elevated Melani Griffith to senior vice president, programming and video services, from VP, programming.
Also, Scott Schneiderman was promoted to senior VP, strategy and operational finance from VP, finance and strategic planning.
