By Mike Reynolds -- Multichannel News, 4/2/2008 4:25:00 PM

Fox Business Network has struck a content licensing deal under which the financial news service will gain a dedicated, live channel on MobiTV.

Under the agreement, terms of which were not disclosed, a full-length linear version of Fox Business, including such fare as Fox Business Morning, Money for Breakfast, The Opening Bell, Happy Hour, Cavuto, America's Nightly Scoreboard and The Dave Ramsey Show on Fox Busines, is now available to MobiTV service subscribers or their enabled wireless handsets via the company’s carrier partners.

“Placing Fox Business Network content on MobiTV helps us reach the fast-growing mobile television audience,” said Tim Carry, senior vice president of affiliate relations, Fox Business Network, in a statement. “We are pleased to partner with MobiTV to bring breaking business and financial news to viewers.”

Added MobiTV vide president of content and programming Jeff Bartee: “We are proud to offer our subscribers the highest quality content like Fox Business Network, especially those who want wireless, anywhere access to breaking business and financial news on the go. Adding Fox Business Network's programming to our lineup underscores our continuing commitment to partner with best-of-class content partners, providing them with a ground-breaking platform to reach even more viewers.

MobiTV’s burgeoning roster of dedicated channel includes NBC, ESPN, TLC and Fox News Channel.
