Time Warner Cable's Los Angeles division will launch Hispanic-targeted digital TV and phone packages with a regional event on April 24.

The video package will be marketed under the name Paquetazo (the package of all packages) and will be priced at $34.95 a month. The package will be a block beginning at Channel 805 and includes a mix of Spanish and English language channels such as eight Spanish-language broadcasters, five regional Mexican channels, eight regional South American channels, seven Spanish-language kids and family channels; four Spanish-language sports channels, four Hispanic music  channels and 60 English-language networks.

Subscribers will also have access to 4,000 hours of free Spanish- and English-language video-on-demand programming.

The new international telephone package, International OnePrice, will cost $19.95 when bundled with domestic digital phone service and either video or Internet service. The calling package includes 3,000 minutes of international calling to 100 countries such as Mexico, Colombia and El Salvador. Calls to overseas mobile phones are not included in the package.

The video package alone will be $34.95 a month; a double play of video plus phone or Internet is $49.95 for 12 months. A triple-play bundle of video, domestic phone and Internet is $79.95 for 12 months.

Time Warner's Los Angeles cluster passes an estimated 2 million Hispanic homes.
