Comcast-Cox ITV Venture Inks Test Deal With Itaas
Pact Lets Firm Provide Support, Resources To TVWorks Developers

TVWorks, a joint venture of Comcast and Cox Communications, signed an agreement with itaas, which will add the TVWorks tru2way and enhanced television standards-based platforms to the itaas “istart” program for interactive TV applications developers.
The agreement allows itaas to provide support and resources to developers creating applications for TVWorks platforms.
Duluth, Ga.-based itaas also offers developer programs for Time Warner Cable's Mystro Digital Navigator (MDN) and OpenCable Application Platform Digital Navigator (ODN), as well as Cisco Systems’ Scientific Atlanta Resident Application (SARA), PowerTV and OCAP Axiom platforms.
