Lisbeth Barron has joined New York-based investment adviser and private-equity firm Centerview Partners as partner in an expansion of its media practice. She comes from Bear, Stearns & Co., where she was head of the corporate finance practice in the film and television content, recorded music, location-based entertainment and branded licensing and merchandising sectors.

City Lights Television

Jennifer Demme has joined New York-based City Lights Television as vice president, production. She comes from Fuse, where she was executive in charge of production.

Alicia Nidezelski was named senior director, product marketing for Comcast Business Class, based in Plymouth Meeting, Pa. She comes from Motorola, where she was director, marketing services.

Comcast Entertainment Group has named Mary Hall vice president, research. She comes from The WB, where she was VP, research.

Also, Frank Chao has joined Comcast Entertainment as director, research. He had been manager, research at FX Networks.

And John Najarian advanced to executive vice president, digital and media development. He had been senior VP, new media and business development.

Fox Networks Group has tapped Erik Moreno as senior vice president, corporate development, based in Los Angeles. He comes from eBay, where he was director, corporate development.

Hogan & Hartson

Washington, D.C., law firm has named Zenas J. Choi as a partner in its intellectual property and new media practices. He had been a partner and co-practice group leader in the technology transactions team at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal.

Lifetime

Lifetime Networks has upped Toby Graff to senior vice president, public affairs and corporate communications, based in New York. She had been VP, public affairs.

Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia has promoted Wenda Harris Millard and Robin Marino to co-CEO. Millard was president of media; Marino was president of merchandising.

Discovery

Julie Robertson was named vice president, domestic licensing at Discovery Communications. She comes from Feld Entertainment, where she was senior VP, marketing.

Also, Jo Edwards was promoted to vice president, international licensing.

Pali Capital

Amy Noblin has joined New York-based investment firm Pali Capital as managing director and research analyst. She comes from Banc of America Securities, San Francisco, where she was senior analyst and principal.

Movie-information network Reelz-Channel has elevated Juli Biondi to vice president, broadcast/localization, based in Los Angeles. Also, Chris Pulis was upped to vice president, production operations.

Eric Berger was named senior vice president, mobile entertainment and digital networks at Sony Pictures Television. He comes from Time Warner Inc., where he had worked as VP, strategic planning.

SRS Labs

Audio and voice technology provider SRS Labs has tapped Jeff Klaas as vice president, global sales. He comes from Entropic Communications, where he was responsible for global retail sales and emerging European MSOs.

TBS

TBS has named Dennis Adamovich senior vice president, general manager of comedy festivals, a new post. He had been senior VP, marketing, of sister services Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang.

UT Starcom

UT Starcom, an Alameda-Calif.-based Internet-protocol networking solutions provider, has tapped Peter Blackmore as CEO. He comes from Unisys, where he was president and chief operating officer.

Viacom

Viacom named Philip Jenner to the new position of vice president, government relations, Europe. He had served as served as director of international public policy and government affairs for Discovery Communications.
