BigBandSusan George was named regional vice president, cable sales at Redwood City, Calif.-based tech vendor BigBand Networks, responsible for Comcast, Cablevision Systems, Cox Communications and other accounts.
CBSCBS Corp. has tapped Adam Townsend as executive vice president, investor relations. He comes from online investment broker E-Trade, where he led investor relations and corporate strategy operations.
CIMGComcast International Media Group has promoted Jene Elzie to vice president, international sales and and strategic planning, based in Los Angeles.
ComcastPete Kieltyka has been elevated to vice president, business operations in Comcast’s Schaumburg, Ill.-based Greater Chicago Region, Lake Area. He had been VP, finance in the MSO’s Indianapolis Region.
Also, Comcast named Russell Zitny director, field sales, business services, Greater Chicago Region.
Comcast spotlightLucette Mercer was promoted to vice president, sales research at Comcast Spotlight. Mercer had been senior director, research and marketing for its West Division.
Also, Adam LaRose advanced to vice president, technology and operations. He had been VP, operations.
And Rob Klippel was named vice president, technical operations and advanced advertising trials. He was upped from VP, operations.
CoxScott Sale was named vice president, business operations at Cox Communications’ Chesapeake, Va.-based Hampton Roads division. He had been director, financial planning and analysis with Cox Kansas-Arkansas.
Also, Joseph Bouchard has joined Cox Business Services’ Hampton Roads unit as director, government sales. He is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates.
Elias ArtsSanta Monica, Calif.-based original music, sound design and audio identity production company Elias Arts has elevated Christopher Kemp to associate creative director. He had been senior composer.
JetsetLos Angeles-based entertainment industry online marketing agency Jetset Studios has named Rynda Laurel vice president, operations. She had been manager, creative affairs at Sony Wonder.

NBC UniversalDan Bethlahmy was named director, wireless marketing in NBC Universal’s Digital Distribution group. He comes from Virgin Mobile, where he was director, consumer marketing.
Also, Tracy Kim has joined NBCU Digital Distribution as manager, digital products. She comes from Next Jump, an Internet-based loyalty and rewards service.
Finally, Emily Powers signed on with NBCU Digital Distribution as manager, business development. She had been an associate producer with National Geographic.
NECNNew England Cable News has named Rachel Blumenthal executive news producer. She was an executive producer at WTNH-TV in New Haven, Conn.
NTN BuzztimeOut-of-home interactive entertainment provider NTN Buzztime has added Peter J. Boylan III as executive vice president, sales. He comes from EMN8, where he was VP, sales.
SezmiKevin Grundy has joined broadband-TV platform Sezmi as chief operations officer. He most recently served as CEO of WiMax firm NextNet Wireless.
Also, Michael Youssefmir has joined Sezmi as chief technology officer. He was senior director, product management at Bytemobile Inc.

TurnerTurner Sports and Entertainment Digital has tapped Andrea Ching as vice president, marketing and promotions, entertainment digital, based in New York. She comes from digital-media ad agency Neo@Ogilvy, where she was senior partner, managing director.
VerizonVerizon Communications has elevated Andres Irlando to senior vice president, New York region, responsible for public policy, external affairs and regulatory matters in New York and Connecticut. He had been VP, public policy.
