SoapNet Is ‘Moonstruck’ Tonight

First Of Five Theatricals For August ‘Sunday Night Movie’ Franchise

SoapNet has lined up five more theatricals for its “Sunday Night Movie” franchise in August.

With acquisitions from MGM Worldwide Television and Paramount Pictures Worldwide Television Distribution, SoapNet has filled its August schedule at 10 p.m. The Sunday movie lineup begins Aug. 3 with Moonstruck, featuring Cher, who won a Best Actress Oscar, Nicholas Cage, Danny Aiello and Olympia Dukakis.

The rest of the theatricals this month: The Butcher’s Wife,  starring Demi Moore, Jeff Daniels and Mary Steenburgen on Aug. 10; Clue, with an ensemble cast of Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michal McKean, Lesley Ann Warren and Martin Mull on Aug. 17;  Mommie Dearest, starring Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford on Aug. 24; and Lucky 13, starring Lauren Graham, Kaley Cuoco, Harland Williams, Ever Carradine, Jenna Fischer, Taryn Manning, Sasha Alexander and Debra Jo Rupp, on Aug. 31.
