By Larry Barrett -- Multichannel News, 8/8/2008 11:28:00 AM

Clean House mopped up in its seventh-season premiere Wednesday night, scoring a 0.68 household rating and garnering more than 546,000 viewers—an all-time high for the network’s home makeover and interior design show.

The 0.68 household rating represents a 143% improvement compared to the sixth-season debut while the 546,000 total viewers marked a 187% jump from the year-ago debut.

Style Network officials said Wednesday’s episode was the network’s second-highest ratings ever among households and total viewers.

Also, the third-season premiere of companion series Clean House Comes Clean delivered a 0.51 household rating (up 21% from last year) and lured 407,000 total viewers—up 38% from the second-season premiere.
