Andrew Jacobs was named manager, research and development at nonfiction programming producer Atlas Media, New York. He comes from The Idea Factory, where he was a development executive.

Bravo Media

Ellen Stone was upped to senior vice president, marketing at Bravo Media. She had been VP, consumer marketing.

Brightcove

Global Internet platform Brightcove tapped Hisashige Hashimoto as general manager of Brightcove KK, its subsidiary in Japan. He had been CEO of mobile auction escrow service Paygent.

Buzznet

Los Angeles-based social-networking Web company Buzznet has named Alan Citron head of special projects. He had been general manager of Time Warner Inc-owned. celebrity site TMZ.

Comcast

Comcast has named Larry Schweber vice president, marketing of its Atlanta system. He had been VP, GM of Comcast's Southwest Florida region.

Cox

Cox Communications has promoted Michael O'Connor to vice president, business operations of its Cox New Orleans system. He had been director, business operations and financial consulting at Cox San Diego.

Also, Lisa Pickelsimer was named executive director, video product development, based in Cox's Atlanta headquarters. She was director, video product development.

Davie Brown

Farrah Louviere has joined entertainment-marketing agency Davie Brown as director of film. She comes from Warner Bros. Pictures, where she was manager, worldwide promotions.

DIY Network

Steven Lerner has joined DIY Network as director of programming, He most recently was show-runner for the CMT series My Big Redneck Wedding.

E!

Beth Greenwald was tapped as vice president, original programming and series development at E! She comes from New Line Television, where she was a senior development executive.

Also, Jason Salarnis was promoted to director, original programming and series development.

Fuse

Angie O'Keefe was named vice president, business development at music network Fuse. She comes from social-medium KickApps Corp., where she was responsible for business development and sales.

Gol TV

Miami-based soccer network Gol TV has named Ivan Perez vice president of advertising sales. He had been VP, director or advertising sales, Southeast territory for Azteca America.

Hallmark Channel

Darren Melameth advanced to vice president, program planning and scheduling for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. He had been director, programming.

KVH

Brent Bruun has joined Middletown, R.I.-based in-motion satellite-TV and communications provider KVH Industries as vice president, business development. He comes from SES Americom, where he was senior VP, strategic initiatives.

LATV

LATV Networks has named David Morales as vice president, business development and co-executive producer of its syndicated programs, American Latino TV and Latination.

Also, Fonda Anita joined LATV as executive in charge of production, and Dolly Romero has signed on as West Coast producer.

Newpoint

Richard Fullerton has joined network-management and remote site monitoring solutions provider Newpoint Technologies as director, business development, Europe. He had been international accounts executive at Datapath.

Panther Express

Steve Milner was appointed vice president of sales for digital media and content markets at Panther Express.

RevShare

Temecula, Calif.-based cost-per-action TV advertising firm RevShare has added Thomas R. Moyes as chief financial officer.

Siemens

Siemens Home and Office Communications Devices has named Rod Keller CEO of its North American division. He had been VP, worldwide sales at Linksys.

Starz

Nancy McGee was elevated to executive vice president, marketing at Starz Entertainment. She was senior VP, marketing and sales.

Trans Digital Media

Adult content provider Trans Digital Media has tapped Anthony Cochi as president, Trans Digital Entertainment. He had been director, programming acquisition at Bethpage, N.Y.-based MSO Cablevision Systems.

Verizon

Brian Hinman has joined Verizon Communications as vice president, intellectual property strategy, responsible for both Verizon Telecom and Verizon Wireless. He comes from Allied Security Trust in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where he was CEO.

WE TV

Christina Pisano has joined WE TV in New York as vice president, research. She had been VP, research for NBC Universal Cable Entertainment, Oxygen and Bravo Media.
