San Jose, Calif.-based interactive TV firm ActiveVideo Networks has tapped Jason Harvey as vice president and general manager, programming strategy and operations. He comes from Google, where he handled vertical business planning, strategy and management for new media and online sales in Latin America.

Anton/Bauer

Anton/Bauer, a provider of professional camera batteries, chargers, lighting and other mobile-power systems for television, has named Michael Accardi president. He had been president of AutoScript.

Arbinet

Shawn F. O’Donnell was named CEO of New Brunswick, N.J.-based Arbinet-Thexchange. He had been a member of the company’s board and was senior director at management and operational consulting firm CXO.

Ascent Media

Ascent Media has added Bridget Allen as vice president, global strategic sales, responsible for U.S. business development. She comes from Harris Corp., where she was VP, strategic sales.

Also, Jason Jones was added as vice president, global strategic sales, responsible for business development in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He had been director, systems and applications, EMEA sales at Harris.

CGS

Scot Rubin has joined the Championship Gaming Series as vice president of marketing. A founder of All Games Productions, he had served as a consultant to Comcast during the launch of video game-centric network G4.

Collins Stewart

Investment bank Collins Stewart has named Ashok Kumar as a San Francisco-based senior research analyst in its technology research department. He comes from CRT Capital Group.

ComSouth

Hawkinsville, Ga.-based telecommunications provider ComSouth has elevated Scott Obert-Thorn to chief financial officer. He had been controller, advanced communication solutions and environments.

Also, Mike Penn was named ComSouth’s vice president of sales. He comes from Sprint Nextel, where he was Southeast area market manager.

Disney-ABC Television

Karin Timpone joined Disney-ABC Television Group as senior vice president, product strategy and marketing. She had been head of consumer/customer innovation at Yahoo!.

Also, Lauren DeViller was added as vice president, digital media, Disney Channel. She formerly had oversight of Yahoo! Kids.

And Beth Johnson has joined Disney-ABC as vice president, digital media, ABC Daytime and SoapNet. She had been editorial director, digital media at Bravo.

Fox Mobile

Fox Mobile Entertainment has promoted Andrew Stalbow to senior vice president, based in Los Angeles. He had been vice president, International for FME.

Also, Amelia Gammon was named vice president, International. She comes from NBC Universal, where she was director of mobile, international new media and Universal digital platforms.

And Matt McMahon was tapped as executive director, content and business development. He had served as FME’s director, programming and operations.

Finally, Adam Wilenski was named director, media and production.

Fuse

Valerie Green has joined music network Fuse in New York as senior vice president, marketing. She comes from Fuse parent Cablevision Systems, where she was head of marketing for the Bethpage, N.Y.-based MSO’s digital commerce and marketing division.

Lifetime

Jen Duddy was named vice president, digital ad sales at Lifetime Networks in New York. She comes from iVillage, where she was national sales director.

MSG Media

MSG Media has promoted Jeff Filippi to vice president, production of New York-based regional sports channels MSG Network and MSG Plus. He had been senior coordinating producer of MSG remote and classic programming.

OWN

Nicole Nichols has joined OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network as senior vice president, communications and strategy, based in Los Angeles. She comes from Disney/ABC Television Group, where she was senior VP, entertainment communications.

Spot Runner

Targeted ad firm Spot Runner has added Jon Rosen as vice president, sales and business development and Elizabeth Carrasco as vice president, online engineering. Rosen comes from automotive e-commerce site Autobytel, where he was senior VP, Web business; Carrasco was VP, engineering at Web-traffic analysis firm Authenticlick.

Turner Sports

Howard Zalkowitz was promoted to vice president, production at Turner Sports in Atlanta. He had been senior producer.

Also, Tim Kiely was upped to coordinating producer. He had been senior studio producer.

TVC Communications

TVC Communications has elevated Tim Emoff to vice president, marketing and product management of TVC Canada. He had been assistant general manager of the broadband video, voice and data technology provider’s Enterprise Networks Group.

Vault

Online career-information site Vault has named Jonathan Spaet as executive vice president, U.S. sales, based in New York. He comes from Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey, where he was VP, general manager of ad sales.
