Madie Gustafson was named partner at Cole, Raywid and Braverman L.L.P. She had been senior vice president, franchising and local government affairs at AT&T Broadband.

ESPN

Jon Achar was named director, creative services. He had held the same title at Fox Broadcasting Company in Los Angeles. Kerry Chandler was named vice president, human resources. She had been director, human resources strategy at IBM Global Services based in Somers, N.Y. Tom Murphy was named VP, international finance and planning. Previously he led the financial team at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

Fox Latin America Channels, which oversees advertising sales and distribution for Canal Fox, Fox Sports, Fox Kids and the National Geographic Channel promoted Ashley Marable to vice president and general sales manager. He had been VP, advertising sales.

Michael Silberman was promoted to managing editor, East Coast. He had been executive editor.

Jim Rosenthal was named president of New Line Television. He had been president of New Media and business development.

Scripps Networks named Skiff Wager chief information officer. He had been vice president, e-commerce and advanced technology at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

SHOWTIME

Brooks Jewell was named senior publicist, trade and media relations for Showtime Networks Inc. She had been publicity director for Blue Sky Studios.

TIME WARNER CABLE

Time Warner Cable, Minnesota promoted Nick Kozel to director, marketing for Road Runner High Speed Online. He had been marketing manager.

UNIVISION

Univision Communications appointed Stuart H. Walker vice president, sales development and marketing at the company's Chicago office. He had been VP, Midwest Region for Columbia Tristar Television in Chicago.

USA NETWORKS

Jon D. Spaet was named president, advertising sales for USA Cable. He had been the head of the ad sales effort for About.com. John Silvestri was promoted to general sales manager and executive vice president, advertising sales for USA Cable. He had been executive VP. Donna Rothman was promoted to senior VP, emerging networks. She had been VP, Eastern sales. Liz Korman was named senior VP, advertising sales. She had been senior VP, advertising sales for Tribune Entertainment. Frank Ciancio and Dina Kalish were promoted to VP, advertising sales, Eastern region. Ciancio had been manager. Kalish had been an account executive. Christine Carbia was promoted to VP, advertising sales, Eastern region. She had been New York sales manager, Eastern region. Mary Lee Quaid was promoted to VP, advertising sales, Central region. She had been director.

USOL HOLDINGS

USOL Holdings Inc. appointed Don Barlow chief financial officer for U.S. Online He concurrently holds the titles of president and chief operating officer.
