Trisha Robinson was named executive vice president. She had been VP, theatrical and video distribution for Showtime Entertainment.

COX COMMUNICATIONS INC.

Jill Campbell was promoted to vice president, operations. She had been VP and general manager for Cox's Las Vegas cable system.

INTELLOCITY

Intellocity USA Inc. named Sid Gregory senior vice president, engineering. He had been senior VP, technology and service development for AT&T Broadband.

THE JIM HENSON COMPANY

Angus Fletcher was promoted to president of The Jim Henson Television Group-Europe. He had been executive vice president. Ritamarie Peruggi was promoted to executive VP, production worldwide. She is currently in charge of production for the Sci Fi series Farscape.

Bernard J. Picchi was named to the company's board of directors. He is senior vice president and director, U.S. equity research for Federated Investment Management Companies.

KPMG

KPMG LLP named Carl Geppert partner, national industry director of the firm's Communications practice. He had been partner in-charge of global communications industry revenue assurance at Andersen.

LIFETIME

Lifetime Entertainment Services named Betsy Rella vice president, research. She had been VP, research and planning at Viacom/MTV. John P. Doherty was named VP, advertising sales, Eastern region. He had been managing director at Campus Pipeline.

MTV NETWORKS

Eddie Dalva was named senior vice president, programming, co-productions and creative affairs for VH1 and CMT: Country Music Television. He had been senior VP, programming, acquisitions and co-productions at VH1. Liz Skoler was promoted to VP, co-productions for MTV: Music Television. She had been VP, business affairs.

NARAD NETWORKS

Shellie Rosser was appointed vice president, marketing for broadband IP services start-up Narad Networks Inc. She had been senior VP, sales at ICTV.

NJCTA

The New Jersey Cable Telecommunications Association named Lavonne Bebler Johnson director, communications. She had led her own company LBJ Communications.

PICTURE PIPLINE

Picture Pipeline LLC named Timothy A. Yokote vice president, technology. He had been development manager for the company's Systems and Information Technology Group.

QVC

John Kelly was named vice president, merchandising, sales and product planning for QVC's merchandising department. He had been senior VP, sales and marketing, Consumer Appliance division for Sharp Electronics Corporation.

RAINBOW MEDIA

Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation promoted Robert Sullivan to executive vice president, regional news and interactive sales. He will continue to oversee News 12 Networks Sales group and the local sales division. Simone Pero was promoted to director, external communication for Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. She had been manager.

SCIENTIFIC ATLANTA

Scientific-Atlanta's board of directors elected Terence F. McGuirk to the board. He is vice chairman of Turner Broadcasting System Inc.

The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is announced seven appointments to its 2001 Board of Directors: The newly elected board members are: At-Large Directors: Tom Elliot, CableLabs, and Sally L. Kinsman, Motorola Broadband Communications Sector. Region 1 Director: Steve Allen, BCE, Cisco Systems, Inc., representing California, Hawaii, and Nevada; Region 2 Director: Diana Riley, TVC, representing Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming; Region 6 Director: Bill Davis, Communications Supply Group, Inc., representing Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin; Region 9 Director: Keith Hayes, BCE, BCT, Gibson Technical Services, representing Florida, Georgia and South Carolina; Region 11 Director: Wayne Hall, Comcast, representing Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Rob Sussman was promoted to executive vice president. He retains his title as chief financial officer at the joint venture between actor-director Robert Redford, Showtime Networks and Universal Studios.

21st CENTURY BROADBAND

Mark Armstrong was appointed executive vice president, operations. He had been president and chief executive officer at Southwestern Bell Video Services.

WEATHER CHANNEL

The Weather Channel announced eight appointments: Janice Bozzi was named vice president, organizational effectiveness. She had been director. Lisa Chang was named VP, human resources at Weather.com. She had been director. Jae Early was named VP, compensation and benefits. He had been director. Sarah Davis was named VP, strategy and development. She had been a senior manager for consulting firm Kurt Salmon Associates. Mardell N. Artis was named director, corporate development. She had been a corporate strategy consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Harold Lewis was named director, corporate development. He had been VP, product development for eLaunchpad LLC. Sarah J. Davis was named VP, strategy and development. She had been senior manager at management consulting firm Kurt Salmon Associates. Felicia McDade was named director, business development.
