Maybe new SNL cast members will arise from the ashes. The strike has inspired young satirists.
Take "Alex Perez" for instance. That could be his real name but he might be coasting on Perez Hilton's coattails. "Alex" is running his own website, hollywoodscabwriter.com

His vids, ostensibly produced to show off his writing prowess, are parodies of campy infomercials - complete with the smiles and puppy dog expressions.
