Motorola Picks Up SA's Former PR Shop

Global public-relations firm Edelman is now handling publicity for most of Motorola’s Home & Networks Mobility group, a change effective as of the start of May.

Edelman had been repping Cisco’s Scientific Atlanta group, rechristened the Cisco Service Provider Video Technology Group (SPVTG), for around six years.

Meanwhile, Motorola’s outside PR agency, Garfield Group, is still in the picture: The firm, whose Philly offices are near the Moto outpost in Horsham, Pa., will continue to handle DOCSIS 3.0, PON and RFoG (RF over glass) infrastructure.

Cisco SPVTG [it was just easier to say “SA”!] is now working with Text 100, which handles PR for Cisco in a number of other areas.
