Flacco Flub? Not!

January 10, 2009

Is anybody watching this game? Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco stepped out of the end zone for what should have been a safety midway through the fourth quarter.
No comment from the CBS crew. No challenge from Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher?
Unbelievable!
(I stand corrected. During the post-game, Boomer Esiason and CBS, with a rear angle, clearly demonstrated that Flacco did not step out of the end zone. My apologies: Rooting interest clouded my view!)
Then, the clock expired on the big third-down completion to tight end Todd Heap that led to the winning field goal.
But so be it.
Three turnovers inside the red zone and two botched shotgun snaps. A ton of penalties. A missed FG. Baltimore moved the ball three times all day–and scored each time. The Titans deserved to lose.
