Well, THAT's Fun (Moody Blues in Visa Ad)

March 11, 2009

I’m sitting here watching and tweeting American Idol when this cool Visa ad pops up on my television screen in big, bright psychedelic colors. The music is Moody Blues’ “Tuesday Afternoon.” Fun

In fact, Visa recently released another inspiring ad called “Let’s Go.” (That’s Morgan Freeman in the voice over set to Smashing Pumpkins’ “Today.”)

fyi: ad agency for both is TBWA\Chiat\Day)

See below: both ads.

Well I liked the way Morgan Freeman asked "will you go left instead of right" and then proceeded to discuss "giving back". How cool.

did you also notice that when they are talking about going to the aquarium the small fish form the word "go" and they say you should "go now" which was the first hit for the original Moody Blues.........very clever!!!!!! Only a real Moody fan would have caught this.....
