Don Davis, 1942-2008

Veteran actor Don Davis passed away yesterday at age 65. Davis was beloved by Stargate fans world-wide.
For seven seasons on Stargate SG-1, Davis played Major General George Hammond "base commander and a father figure to many of the show’s characters" according to Gateworld, a big Stargate fansite. Gateworld immediately compiled a tribute video which is posted on their homepage.
I don’t think the folks at Gateworld will mind that I borrowed this photo. Godspeed, Don Davis.

I remember him from Twin Peaks, and of course, Scully's dad in X-Files, as well.
