Alex Perez: "Helping Hollywood in A Time of Need"

There’s been a lot of speculation about what media innovations might emerge if the writers’ strike drags on. 

Maybe new SNL cast members will arise from the ashes.  The strike has inspired young satirists.

Take "Alex Perez" for instance.  That could be his real name but he might be coasting on Perez Hilton’s coattails.  "Alex" is running his own website, hollywoodscabwriter.com

"I’m Alex Perez, and while I may lack experience, I make up for it with a go-get-‘um attitude that can’t be matched," he writes in that drippy sincere voice often found in resume cover letters.

The whole town is abuzz and so am I.  I’m thoroughly enjoying my new occupation but who knew writing involved so much talking…
