Carly Fiorina Squeals: SNL Is Sexist! Superficial! Disrespectful!

Carly Fiorina (you know, the woman who ran Hewlett-Packard into the ground and now serves as a top McCain economic advisor) took to the airwaves on MSNBC this afternoon to parrot the McCain "sexism" script and squeal about Saturday Night Live’s mistreatment of Sarah Palin.
Fiorina characterized Tina Fey’s portrayal of Sarah Palin on SNL as “sexist.”
“I think she looked a bit like her — I think of course the portrait was very dismissive of the substance of Sarah Palin/” Fiorina said. She also called it “superficial,” and “disrespectful."
Clearly, Carly needs to get out more if she takes offense at SNL skits.
Sarah Palin, however, had a good laugh and once dressed as Tina Fey for Halloween, according to CBS News. So props to Sarah Palin for having a sense of humor.
The McCain game plan: inoculate Palin from substantive criticism of her record (or lack of) by painting the media and Obama, at every opportunity, as abusive, sexist and mean.
The problem at this point: the McCain camp is increasingly looking like a bunch of whiners with a persecution complex. They’re making Palin look like a woman who can’t take it like a man. And that’s a disservice to Palin. Because whatever you think of Palin, she’s a pretty tough gal.

My comments were not vindictive and were hardly personal. If you take things so personally, maybe you shouldnt have your blog open to comments. Certainly, I could use the same standard directed at you since your blogs usually tear down and are unusually mean....especially when your invective is directed at "evil" Republicans. The plain and simple truth is you censored my posts in similar fashion and tactics like those seen at Kos and other far left sites.

Now the reason I have posted, so called attacks, as you say, is that I am usually responding to the rediculous slime that MaryMac posts. I actually come here to this site to read about the industry, but people like MaryMac have to have their soapbox. Thus, I respond....It's hard to have a serious debate with people like MaryMac because of the rage and hate. I truly wish that wasn't true. Rob, I wouldnt be suprised if we could actually sit down and have brew and exchange ideas like civilized people.

Oh, and I did see that Carly said she didn't think any of the 4 candidates for pres/vice pres could run a company. But, that's not the point. It's the GOP, not the Dems, that has campaigned for many years on a platform that its candidates would treat the government like a company and run it like they were a CEO. Looks like Carly 'stepped in it' pretty good yesterday by saying that neither McCain or Palin are qualified to run a company. After all these years of the GOP saying we need CEO-type presidents to run the US government as a corporation, it's rather odd that the GOP has nominated candidates that don't match the rhetoric. Carly will not quietly disappear as a surrogate campaign spokesperson... bye bye, don't let John pat u on the a$$ on the way out the door.

The Democrats have had control of the House and Senate since Jan. 2007 (20 months). They have a majority of only 1 member in the Senate. They have effectively been able to slow down George W Bush and his disastrous policies. However, the Republicants have blocked (filibustered) nearly everything the Democrats have tried to do since gaining majority control and GWB has vetoed nearly ever other bill that somehow made its way out of the Congress and to his desk.

I think Carly is still very bitter from being fired from HP. She sounds ridiculous whining about (non-existent) s e x i s m now, especially comparing Palin to Clinton. And, when she was on ABC Sunday morning, she kept repeating the same old lies about Palin and McCain, and then when confronted with the truth by George, she'd just change the subject. She really doesn't get it: Republicans are part of the problem, not part of the solution.
