TCA/Fox's Kevin Reilly: Cable Creatives Migrate to Broadcast

July 14, 2008

Per the Fox pilot in development, Virtuality, with Battlestar’s Ron Moore…

there is a "gay relationship as dimensional as anything I’ve seen portrayed on television," says Kevin Reilly, (President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company) during the network’s TCA executive session.

More about Virtuality here on Io9.

A single camera comedy from the creators of FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia called Boldy Going Nowhere is described by Reilly as  "The Office in space, one of the funniest scripts I’ve read."

Up next - J.J. Abrams’ Fringe panel which the network screened for critics at a late night reception yesterday.

Fox seems a tad weighted toward the paramormal, sci-fi etc. these days….
