Those “Why Pay More?” ads you see on DISH Network must be working, a few weeks ago DIRECTV made an ad which ran on their website which parodied the ads. This morning DIRECTV customer to find that the XM Music channels they have grown use to were gone and were replaced by a new music service called SonicTap. Yesterday DIRECTV put out a press release announcing that over 1 million people have downloaded the DIRECTV Remote Scheduler application for the iPhone. DIRECTV through it’s advertising has really put remote DVR scheduling on the map.
