Announced last month and set to be profiled in a March 2016 issue of the magazine, the 100 execs include (in alphabetical order):

--Beth Drohan, vice president, national network operations, Verizon;
--Andre Fuetsch, senior vice president, domain 2.0 architecture and design, AT&T; and

Also selected from the TV ecosystem was Chris Contakes, vice president of IT at the Public Broadcasting Service.

“These dedicated executives are creating nimble IT organizations to respond quickly to today’s business needs, by leveraging the influx of technologies such as cloud computing, the Internet of Things, social media, mobile and wearables," Scot Finnie, editor in chief of Computerworld, said. "[They] are actively recruiting talented technology pros for their departments and grooming them to take on new roles. They’re also constantly adjusting their risk management strategies to align with the evolving security landscape.”
