The Lynching of A Presidential Candidate

10/06/2008 11:51 PM

The evidence is stacking up.  The McCain campaign is saturating American airwaves with racially tinged anti-Obama messages.

With the pulblic annoucementnot even being subtle about it now.

Last Sunday night Fox News Sean Hannity launched the mother of all smears against Barack Obama.  It’s important to label this purposed news hour for exactly what is was: vile.   There were so many wacky assertions and conflating loose assocations, board memberships and the fact that the now respected professor held a coffee once into a dark web of conspiracy that can only be characterized as paranoid.

Mr. Obama’s work as a community organizer in Chicago was “training for a radical overthrow of the government.”

“Obama & Friends: The History of Radicalism.”
It was Andy Martin who made….Martin has a history of mental disorders. His ????????   says Media Matters.  And the Washington Times covered his virulent anti-semitism.  The man has clearly developed some sort of dangerous obsession (probably racist) with Obama.  It’s one thing for these people to be limited to a corner of the Internet but Fox News just displayed the height of irresponsibility by giving someone who is clearly a paranoid freak a forum to spew dangerous and poisonous fallacies.  a freak show

n Mr. Hannity’s words, “Obama’s list of friends reads like a history of radicalism.”
well, Hannity is so far to the right, it’s difficult to know exactly what he means by radicalism.  but it’s a charged word.

Hannity also target ACORN, an organization that??????, and stated that the organization was "forced’ to make bad loans and was responsible for the current financial crisis.

Mr. Hannity’s executive producer, John Finley, said that the program was clearly opinion and that the audience — on average 1.5 million to 2 million — knew to take it as such. “ ‘Hannity’s America’ is an opinion show — it’s a show from Sean’s perspective, which is obviously conservative,” Mr. Finley said.

Opinion?  Conservative.  no, the show crossed a line into was poison plain and simple.

and the virulent speech is getting dangerous. Just yesterday…???
