Comedy Central Renews 'Broad City' for Third Season

Ahead of the show’s sophomore premiere Wednesday night, Broad City has been picked up for a third campaign by Comedy Central.

The network has ordered 10 new installments of  Broad City, which Comedy Central officials said  was the top show in cable in its timeslot and best new comedy in 2014 with guys 18 to 34.

Broad City, based on the web series, is created by stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer and executive produced by Amy Poehler.

The series' second season begins Jan. 14 at 10:30 p.m. Hannibal Buress, Arturo Castro, Paul Downs, John Gemberling, Chris Gethard and Stephen Schneider join the show as regulars this season.
